Creative Expression in the context of The Creative Cloister is the practice of guiding individuals in the process of visually communicating the thoughts and intents of the heart. Therefore, either in person or through online media, clients and I explore various creative practices. During this process, clients move toward a fuller and more authentic life as they visually express the process of discovering the deeper self in relation to God and to others.

For me, Creative Expression often takes the form of acrylic paintings. My own art work comes from a place of deep meditation, discovery, and play. I have found that the process of making art, in whatever form, can be a way of prayer. To make this idea more concrete, I have included a few paragraphs describing the process I have used in creating various paintings
