Spiritual Freedom focuses on the work of spiritual direction, primarily on a one-with-one basis, but I can also incorporate groups as requested. An important part of our spiritual journey, and indeed our life-long growth as adults, is toward greater freedom. Crucial to this is the ability to recognize the nudges of God in our lives and our capacity to respond to God with freedom. The purpose of spiritual direction is to assist individuals in developing and cultivating their relationships with God. This assistance involves attentive listening, with questions or suggestions to help others notice and respond to the presence of God in their lives. It is an ongoing ministry of companionship and discernment, harkening back to the Celtic term anam cara or soul friend.
